Our company was established in 1966 with the sole purpose of utilizing tapioca starch which is grown extensively in india. We first started with the manufacture of liquid adhesives for corrugated paper board manufacturing machines, automatic labeling plant to stick paper labels to bottles, adhesive paste to stick paper bags, paper cartoons, etc., These are made from tapioca starch and dextrine based on our know - how.
In the second stage, we started manufacturing different types of dextrine such as low converted dextrine, white dextrine, and yellow dextrine from tapioca starch. These dextrine are used in the manufacture of paper - corrugated board, iron foundries etc. For manufacturing dextrine, we have a most modern acid - hydrolysis plant with a capacity of 75 tons per month. The same plant is ideally suited for producing custom built adhesive powder for corrugated box manufacturers.
In the third stage of expansion, we have developed carboxy methyl cellulose. This products is chemically called C. M. C. We have a most modern plant to manufacture carboxy methyl cellulose and our capacity is 100 tons per month. This product has very important uses in textile, paper, pesticides and oil well drilling as stabilizer and binder. The main usage is in detergent powder manufacturing and ceramic industry.
In the fourth stage of expansion, we have started manufacturing oxidized starches and etherified starches, which have great use in textile and paper sizing. The product is being manufactured at a capacity of 15 tones per month in our plant. We have developed process to manufacture pregeletinized starch, which has application in foundry chemicals and adhesive industry. This is a cold water soluble starch.
We have the necessary infra structural facilities such as a good laboratory, staffed by enough chemists and mechanical engineers. All our product developments are under our own research and you will note from the above that addition of new products to the range of our total manufacture is mainly due to research and development.
