A Tree Plantation activity carried out in Mumbai by the organization “NEW – Nature’s Enthusiast World”, is the Source of NEWREKA. Newreka was given birth to express its core group member’s Love for Nature and Passion for Chemical Engineering. The idea that time was to identify Unit Processes in Chemical Industry which involve Liquid, Solid or Air Pollution and to generate Environment Friendly Technologies to address those pollution concerns.
Core Team of Newreka are Young, Nature Loving, Chemical Engineers from India’s most reputed chemical engineering institution “Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay”.
We started with “Unit Process Reduction” to address the Solid, Liquid and Air Pollution being caused by the Conventional Reduction Technologies. We developed and launched “NEWREKA REDUCTION TECHNOLOGY (NRT)” in the Indian market 5 years back mainly replacing Conventional Reduction Technologies like Catalytic Hydrogenation, Boro Hydride Reductions, Metal / Acid Reductions, Sodium Sulphide Reductions, etc.
Since the launch of the technology, over the last four years, Newreka has builded Core Competence in the domain of Unit Process Reduction. Working day and night continuously for 5 years, in Laboratory, Pilot Plant and Plant Level only on Reduction Process has led a foundation of amazing depth. Our access to Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Kinetics and Engineering of Unit Process Reduction is ongoingly deepening.
