The Muslim Ambulance Society established in the year 1932, has been rendering
humanitarian and medical welfare services to people of all classes without distinction of
caste, creed & religion. The Society registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 and
also under Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860, has developed into a useful and
significant centre of medical assistance to the poor and needy people over the years.
We have also equipped all our rooms of the Nursing Home with Air -Conditions.
All the rooms are having attached bathrooms. It is worth noting that our I.C.U. is very
well equipped and does not require any patient to be shifted to any other hospital due to
lack of facilities. Similarly our both operation theatres are well -equipped with all
necessary and new instruments and equipments including C-arm and latest and quite
sophisticated aneasthesia machines for major and super major surgeries.
Many renowned
surgeons at our Nursing Home are fully satisfied with our operation theatres and the staff.
We are pleased to state that due to its popularity the said Nursing Home is almost full
with the patients and many a times we have to refuse admissions due to non -availability
of the rooms. Therfore, we constructed a new general ward, accommodating 20 patients.
this started functioning since 20th October 2000; thus making the total bed strength of this
Nursing Home to 65. To meet the increasing requirement of the water, we have built an
underground water tank with the capacity of 16000 litres at a cost of Rs.2.5 lacs.
We are pleased to state that at the said Nursing Home we have also established
new departments such as 2D Echo Cardiography, Stress Test and Pulmonary Function
Test units, dental clinic, physiotherapy department and dialysis unit. Soon we shall be
having full-fledged oncology cancer clinic.
