TRISTAR ENGINEERS, a partnership company was established to cater to the
demands of replacement spare parts markets. by professionally qualified and
experienced technocrats.
Thus. with the manufacturing and marketing experience gained from the spare
parts market. the company ventured to enter into the original equipment markets
in the year 1985. The response from the vehicle manufacturers was very encouraging and the company made a beginning with M/s. Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. and M/s. Premier Automobiles Ltd., for- its various types of auto electrical parts i.e. Switches, Relays & Flashers.
This successful beginning in the O.E. market gave a fillip to the company to add
new products to its product mix. resulting in the introduction of plastic items like
dash-board indicator lights side direction lights roof lights foot lights and plastic
parts. The installation of injection moulding machines in the company facilitated the in-house production of plastic parts required for various types of existing and new products.
By adding new customers like M/s. PAL Peugeot Ltd., M/s Surya Murphy Richards
Ltd. and M/s Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. to the list of O.E customers. the
company's turnover and financial position improved considerably which paved the
way for the upgradation of technology in the field of improving the quality of
products manufactured.
With the confidence gained in the quality of products manufactured by the
company, the O.E Customers extended the opportunity to develop and supply more
products like park & turn signal light, taillights, fuse box, number plate iight,
engine compartment lights which further enhanced the status of the company as
manufactures of lights of high standard of quality.
The company has taken up the challenge of facing the ever-increasing demand of
ancillary products by the automotile industry and spare parts markets. The
automotive industy in India is progressing very fast and heading for a quantum
jump with more and more advanced countries entering into Indian market with
their latest models of vehicles. This has created a tremendous opportunity the
company to promote its business Keeping this in mind, the company has plans to
introduce many more products in the near future.
