Arun Engineering Projects Private Limited, made its beginning as a small propreitary concern in the name of Arun Engineering Enterprises in the year 1972 and is in the Flagship of the Group. The company specializes in implementing water supply schemes including water treatment plants, underground drainage projects both within the State of Karnataka and other neighbouring states of Kerala and Tamilnadu. The company has to its credit, experience of laying over 1000 kms of pipeline of various diameters and classes of pipes in states of Karnataka, Tamilnadu. The presence of the company is felt in almost all districts of Tamilnadu and Karnataka for its quality work. The company is proud to associate itself in completing over 60% of the water supply schemes undertaken by the government of Karnataka. The company has carved a niche in the market and also the quality in execution of projects has become a de facto standard for such works.
In order to meet its own requirement of pipes and other appurtenances, the company has a backward integration, established a unit Arun Prestressed Concrete Products Pvt Ltd., at Hassan for the manufacture of precast concrete pipes and prestressed concrete pipes. By adopting innovative methods in the process and manufacture, the company's products are consistent in quality and command a premium in the market.
As part of diversification of the activities, the company has conceived a mini Hydel Power project on the left bank of the Bhadra Dam and the project is in the advance planning stage. Our aim is to go in for development of infrastructure projects including viable power projects.
