Beton Tile Company was established in 1993 as a partnership firm. The five partners
then were from complementary backgrounds and qualifications.
The factory was located on an acre of land purchased by the partners in the outskirts of
Chennai for this purpose. The trial production went on for six months from mid-1993
onwards with technology perfected in Germany.
The initial breakthroughs in the market were achieved when the prestigious MADRAS
MEDICAL MISSION, Asia's largest cardiac care hospital located in Mogappair and
headed by the renowned DR. CHERIAN, opted for Beton tiles model 'Moonstone' for
their car ramp. The choice included two other companies, but Beton was selected on the
basis of its superior quality when proved by tests done at the Mission's facilities.
Beton quickly established a name for quality products and since then there has been no
looking back as far as projects where quality counts are concerned. The tiles have
captured the attention of various leading Architects and Builders all over India for their
aesthetics and functional design.

foresight in the areas of modern production techniques, innovative designs, and customer
