DR. A. BESANT C. RAJ is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad ( first batch). He also holds a doctoral degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, Harvard University, USA. He has a Master's degree in philosophy from Madras University and a Master's degree in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University.
After a distinguished teaching career, which includes being the Director of studies at
Administrative Staff college of India, Hyderabad, Dr. Raj founded his own Management Consultancy Company , Besant Raj International Ltd., in 1979 with his wife.
He is also the founder Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India. Dr. Raj is the first Chancellor of ICFAI University (Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India), Raipur. He is on several boards and till recently was on the board of Industrial Development bank of India (IDBI).
Dr. Raj has carried out several prestigious International and national consultancy assignments which include work with the Ford Foundation, New York, and the Common Wealth Fund for Technical Co-operation, London, The Economic Development Institute of the World Bank and the Iraq National Oil Company.
DR. (MRS.) AMIRTHA BESANT RAJ holds a Ph.D, in Industrial Psychology from Osmania University. She has specialized in Guidance and Counselling and has taken her Ed.M. ( Master's in Education ) from the Boston University, USA. She also holds another Master's degree in Psychology from the Banaras Hindu University and a Master's degree in Education from Madras University.
MR.REUBEN BESANT RAJ is the Managing Director of Software Spectrum (I) Limited, Bangalore and Genesis Technologies Inc., U.S.A. He is a Post Graduate in Business Administration from IIM, Ahmedabad,. Prior to starting his own company he gained considerable Marketing experience in Corporates such as Computer Point and McDowells Ltd.
