Indu Nursing Home is a full-fledged surgical hospital serving Vile Parle since 1985. It is a ground floor set up in a very serene and quiet surroundings of Vile Parle (East) away from the hustle and bustle of regular Mumbai traffic, an utmost requirement for patient care, it stands high in quality of medical care.
Started with a basic intention of catering to the Gynecological and Obstetrical care, it has stood up to the expectations of the patients availing of these facilities.
Indu Nursing Home is basically governed and run by Dr. (Mrs.) Rita Patravali (Gynaecologist and Obstetrician) and by Dr. Prafull Patravali (Anaesthesiologist). Both these doctors are stalwarts in their own field and names worth reckoning on.
PARTICULARS:
This hospital is a product of their dreams and stands tall as a reputed hospital. It has a separate entrance and exit as opposed to the regular residents of the building.
ENTRANCE: is on the ground floor, opposite to the entrance of the main building. You need to walk straight from the gate of the building. Hospital has a double door. The inner door is a see through glass.
The entrance has a reception counter for the hospital assistant where you will need to leave your visiting card/introduction to avail of the doctor. It has a comfortable accommodation for sitting, till you wait for your turn, for 10 persons.
There are magazines and newspaper kept at our reading shelf for your interest or you could watch the common coloured television.
You would be taken in as per your turn or strictly on appointment.
RECEPTION AND WAITING ROOM:
SPECIAL ROOM (IST CLASS): One special room with air conditioner. Bed strength of the room is 2, one for the patient and another for the relative. It has an attached toilet-bath, extra chairs for the visitors in visiting hours, a coffee table with storage space. Provisions in the room with a wall clock, night lamp and electric mosquito repellent. Illumination is with a tube light. The toilet seat is of the western style avoiding discomfort to the patient especially post operative due to squatting. Flooring is white with white curtains giving a different ambiance unlike hospital room.
