The life of asbestos cement pressure pipes is of 70 years as per IS specification. In comparison to CI Pipes. A.C. Pipes are four times cheaper. Handling and laying of A.C. Pipes is more easier than CI pipes. In CI Pipes after 10 to 15 years rusting is observed where as there is no chance of rusting in A.C. Pipes.
