Kumaran Industries was founded in the mid fifties to manufacture special purpose machines for printing industry. For nearly two decades the company has concentrated on two products viz. double side disc ruling machine and thread book sewing machine.
In the early eighties, Kumaran Industries has focused on developing precision aerospace components. To achieve this goal a new group was formed with experts drawn from various areas viz. CNC programming, tool engineering, production and quality control, besides importing state of the art CNC Machining Centres and CNC Lathes from reputed manufacturers.
The aerospace group started its activities in developing high precision, gas turbine and aero engine parts, aircraft systems and structures, wind tunnel models, to begin with.
With the experience gained over the past two decades, today Kumaran has emerged as one of the leading industries specialised in the development of Air Borne items, capable of meeting the stringent quality requirement, of the aerospace industry.
