NIS is a partnership entity registered in the year 1986 and engaged in the above activity for the past 16 years. The chief executive of the company M/S. K.S. Mehta, a graduate in mechanical engineering, has worked in leading engineering companies involved in manufacture of sophisticated products in the above line of activity, he is well versed and has over 26 years of experience in this line.
The manufacturing activity is looked after by Mr. P Jayakumar, who is a mechanical engineer and having more than 20 years of experience in Material handling equipment manufacture.

We are having a full fledged factory in Maduravoyal, Chennai 600 095 with the following facilities:

With the above mentioned facilities, we are comfortably delivering 500 sets of idlers/rollers and 30 nos of conveyor pulleys per month. Besides this, we have facilities for equipment fabrication and assembly.
Performance
Already NIS idlers and pulleys worth several crores have been supplied by us for various prestigious projects.
We have also executed repeat orders and our idlers/pulleys are installed in Port Trusts in Madras, Marmugoa, which have belt speeds and capacity varying from 1600 MTPH - 10000 MTPH.
Our idlers/pulleys are used in a number of steel plants, coal mines, ore mines, cement and fertiliser plants.
