Shilpa Bharti Institute of arts and crafts: was founded by Kala Guru Shri Raghunanadan Sharma in 1958. he dedicated his life to art in practicing and promoting art. Shilpa Bharti is a point of encounter among culture art, design, sculpture rich traditional crafts and society. Shilpa Bharti is a really with its roots in Rajas than, but which operates in international artistic perspective to promote art.
Shilpa Bharti has since gained international recognition as one of the foremost institution in the field of Art, Crafts and Design.
Shilpa Bharti is affiliated to Directorate of college Education Govt of Rajasthan for four-year program equivalent to Bachelor of fine Arts in the field of fine visual Art namely Painting, Sculpture and Applied Arts.
The institute’s graduates are active in all related sphere of art and crafts. Many have distinguished themselves as diverse personalities such as Painters, muralists, sculptors and commercial artist Graphics, textile designers and product designers, crafts designer and in the field of promotion advertising, development communication, multimedia and education.
Shilpa Bharti provides excellent opportunities to both male and female candidates for learning Applied Art, Painting & Sculpture and conducts regular classes. Examination conducted by the Directorate of college education, Govt of Rajasthan school of Art Jaipur.
The object of the institution is to provide courses for students of ability and inborn talents in order to produce:
1. Art teachers for secondary and senior secondary education.
2. Artists with creative talents and capabilities to fit in the life and to help the development in the trends in the field of Arts & Crafts in view of developing culture and civilization.
3. Artists for preservation and improvement in traditional art of Rajasthan.
