Suresh Press Works was established in the year 1968 by Mr. D.T. Wadhokar. Being a skilled technician, he served for about eight years at Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. Pune before commencing this enterprise.
He began with a small fly press machine in a rented shed at Kalas, Pune in 1970. In 1974 he shifted to his own factory at MIDC Chichwad. Now he is heading eight units employing about 165 workers. With hardwork and keen enterpreneurship, he added one unit after other each unit specializing in its own specific activities.
His three sons joined him one after the other and are now strengthening his hands in managing the company.
Suresh Press Works has excellent reputation for the quality of product they manufacture. Timely delivery and customer service. The company has been approved as ISO 9002 by BVQI in the year 1996.
Telco, the auto giant has awarded self certification to this company enabling it to provide direct supplies to assembly lines just in time.
The company is improving its quality management system to meet with norms of QS 9000 standards and moves are a foot to get certification as QS 900 company.
SM Rolling Works manufacturing program includes large sheet metal parts like assembly, cross mbr, assembly long mbr, assembly frame for 207, exhaust pipe lines which are complicated to manufacture and need very heavy capacity press facilities.
