In systems where proper earthing is provided the MCBS provides additional protection by instantaneous interruption of the fault current, in the case of faults, there by eliminating the possibility of excessive touch voltages.
Standards : E2S MCBS carries standards as per IS:8828-1996 & IEC:898-1995 as tested and confirmed by our R&D.
Range : E2S MCBS are available in SP, SP+N, DP configuration with standards rated currents of 0.5A to 32 Amps. Tripping characteristics of "B" and "C" series with short circuit capacity 3000A at 240 and 415V AC. Further "B" series MCBS normally used suitably for lighting & other Domestic loads where as "C" series is suitable for Motor & other Inductive loads.
Design : E2S MCBS is an efficient current limiting device, well engineered to provide necessary protection against overloads and short circuits through in built thermal bi-metal elements and electromagnetic release respectively. In both cases safe and rapid interruption is assured.
Housing : The Housing of E2S MCBS is moulded from special Thermosetting plastic material. The Housing & other moulded components are Fire retardant, Anti tracking & non hygroscopic. The Housing can withstand a high temp & is impact resistant.
Operating Mechanism : The operating mechanism is so designed that it operates without vibration & prevents contact welding. All moving components are embedded suitably in housing in such a way that it gives extra ordinary service life.
Tip Free Mechanism : In the event of an over current or short circuit the MCBS automatically interrupt all poles irrespective of fault occurring in any one pole, there by preventing single phasing of current and protecting the installation. The operating device (knob) always indicates correct contact position.
Mounting : E2S MCBS can be installed suitably like conventional type of Flush type Electrical accessories matching to the same and thereby giving the same aesthetic look.
