TRAVERSE ASIA CRUISES TRAVELS AND TOURS is a Chennai based travel agency set up in 1983 to provide travel and transport related services for companies, businessmen, individuals and tourists. Our services include travel ticket reservations, tourist car/coach rentals and cargo shipping to the Andamans. In 1984, we started our package tour services to cater to domestic and foreign tourists who wish to see India and neighbouring countries. We specialise in taking tourists to fascinating holiday and pilgrimage destinations where organised tours are the most convenient way to travel. Apart from our regular tours to the Andamans, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka we also conduct specialised group tours to all places in India.
TRAVERSE ASIA CRUISES TRAVELS AND TOURS has designed an easy tour booking and payment procedure, which will be especially convenient for out-station tourists. According to this procedure, intending tourists can book their tours by sending us a voucher payment of Rs.500/- per person by Draft or M.O., which should be received by us before the closing date of booking. They are also required to fill up the application form (as per format given on last page) and send it to is along with 5 copies of their passport size photographs. As soon as we receive the voucher payment along with the required enclosures, we shall proceed to make all arrangements for your tour. Within a few days we shall confirm your tour and inform you the exact date and time of sailing. Tourists can arrive at Chennai accordingly. The advance payment (amounting to 30% of the package price) must be received by us at least 6 days before the date of commencement of the tour. The entire balance of the package price (i.e. less voucher and advance payments) can be paid up at our office in Chennai on the date of commencement of tour.
Mode of payment
The voucher payment and the advance payment can be paid by M.O./Draft must be crossed and drawn in favour of TACT-TOURS, Chennai. The balance payment is to be paid in cash on arrival at Chennai. However, tourists who wish to make their Balance payment by draft can send this amount along with the advance payment so that we shall receive the draft at least six days before tour commencement date.
Cancellation
Tourists who have made their advance payment but wish to cancel their tours subsequently can do so if we are informed of it atleast 7 days prior to the sailing date. In this case, only the voucher payment will be forfeited. For cancellation done less than 7 days of the sailing date (I.e. after advance payment is made) the voucher payment and 20% of the package price will be forfeited (as cancellation charges) due to prior commitments. The balance 10% of the advance payment will be refunded. In case of no show the entire voucher and advance payments will be forfeited.
