Topographic and Engineering Surveys was formed in November 1979 by Shri R.S Ramamoorthy, a retired officer of Survey of India with considerable experience in land survey. Presently, it is run by Shri.S.R.Lakshmanan, a Retired Officer of the Indian Defence Estates Service with expertise in land surveys and revenue laws. He is assisted by a team of young personnel many of whom are diploma holders who have been fully trained in all aspects of surveying.
